Greetings!  I'm Julio!

Greetings!  I’m Julio! I am a therapist here at ROAN! I joined the ROAN team in April 2024. I earned my Master of Social Work in 2020 and am currently working towards earning my LCSW. Over the last 6 years of my career, I have had the privilege of servicing diverse populations including children, teens, and adults.

 

My goal is to always provide the highest level of service to all clients. Trust is a fundamental component ofany relationship. Being a person who spent many years guarded and withdrawn, I understand how difficultit may be to open up to someone else, let alone talk about some of the innermost thoughts of their being, so I have worked hard on this, and building rapport has become one of my strengths. As a therapist, I striveto create a judgment-free zone where clients feel safe to express themselves. I believe in the importance ofcultural sensitivity and strive to honor the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual.

 

I sincerely believe every individual has a purpose. Collaborating to help people overcome barriers andtrauma to find healing so they can see fulfillment in their lives is one of the reasons why I chose to work inthis field. I am looking forward to supporting my clients and witnessing them find the best version ofthemselves so they can thrive in all areas of their lives!

 

Fun Facts:  In my free time, I enjoy painting, drawing, sushi, drumming, sports (Go NY Rangers!), gaming, andspending time with my close friends/family. I am deeply passionate about The Arts and would love to oneday incorporate music and painting into therapy services.
